Nike has released possibly the funniest series of kicks yet.
Their Fallen Heroes set pays tribute to faded early ’90s pop culture icons, including Vanilla Ice, Pee Wee Herman and Milli Vanilli.
Imitation is the highest form of flattery here, ’cause the shoes are a lot cooler than the acts they’re based on!
The Pee Wee Herman kicks, with a red and gray colorway reflecting his suit and bowtie, are shown below.

I can watch Pee Wee’s big adventure today and still LMAO. I watched it with my daughter about 2 years ago when she was about 7 and she still quote certain parts of it to me today (I know you are but what am I?…the stars shine bright…clap, clap, clap), etc. Hopefully DrJays will carry these!

The insoles in these have a silhouette of movie theater seats with a lone man sitting in one of them. Poor PeeWee. What was he supposed to do at the adult theater? Pay strong attention to the story line?
