Designer Karl Kani returns with new brand
As LL Cool J once loudly proclaimed, don’t call it a comeback.
Karl Kani, widely regarded as the “godfather of urban fashion,” is back in full force with a new line, Live Life and Love Denim.
Live Life and Love Denim is described as “the perfect blend of urban luxury without being over priced.”
There are mens and womens lines, with t-shirts, jackets and of course, a wide range of sexy denim styles.
Karl Kani is credited with pioneering the emergence of the fashion upsurge known as “urbanwear” and paving the way for brands such as Rocawear, Phat Farm and Sean John. He debuted his self-named brand in 1993, with artists like the late Tupac Shakur popularizing it almost immediately.
