Kimora Lee Simmons to star in new TV show
The Style Network is bringing Baby Phat director Kimora Lee Simmons’s life to the small screen in a new weekly series tentatively titled Kimora.
“Kimora Lee Simmons is simply a fascinating woman,” says Salaam Coleman Smith, Executive Vice President, The Style Network, in announcing the new series. “She is refreshingly blunt, absolutely honest and outrageously entertaining – the kind of woman who knows what she wants and how to get it.”
The cameras will follow Kimora around during her day to day life, which involves running operations at global brand Baby Phat, looking after her two daughters, seven-year-old Ming Lee and four-year-old Aoki Lee, and working with her formidable team of publicists, managers, creative directors and fashion designers, as well as an extensive personal staff of nannies, chefs, drivers, stylists and hair/makeup artists.
Kimora debuts this summer on The Style Network.
