Here’s a trailer of the upcoming film Ink, directed by acclaimed West Coast photographer Estevan Oriol and produced by Oriol and tattoo master Mister Cartoon.
Ink is predominantly about Mister Cartoon’s huge influence on tattoo culture and hip-hop worldwide.
The plot is described as: “An East L.A. graffiti artist gets a job as an illustrator for Hustler magazine and also as a designer of low-rider cars. He eventually stretches his talents to tattooing and etches his artwork into the skin of such hip-hop stars as Eminem, Red Man, 50 Cent, Dr. Dre, Method Man and Xzibit.”
Wow…this movie looks like it’s going to be crazy, can’t wait for it to come out! Mister Cartoon is definitely a legend and Estevan Oriol’s photography is second to none. The West Coast needs some attention right now and this is perfect!
