Young Jeezy’s Eight732 gear on the way
In true hustler tradition, Atlanta’s Young Jeezy is getting ready to launch his clothing line, Eight732, on DrJays.com.
Originally titled U.S.D.A (United Streets and Dope Boys of America, after his rap group) the line was renamed Eight732 because the US government didn’t allow Jeezy to use the original acronym.
“The government won’t let me [name the clothing line] U.S.D.A.,” Young Jeezy told AllHipHop.com. “[So] what I did was, you know back in the day, you know had those little pagers? We would page people numbers for letters. 8732 is U.S.D.A.”
Eight732 will make its debut on DrJays.com in time for Fall 2007.
In other Jeezy news, U.S.D.A’s first single “White Girl” (produced by Drumma Boy, who also features in DrJays.com‘s upcoming “Summer Sensations” fashion shoot) is currently blazing up charts.
The group are also headlining the national “Street Dream” tour, traveling across the US right now.
