Rocawear sues counterfeit operation
According to AllHipHop:
Jay-Z’s Rocawear filed a lawsuit against a Redondo Beach, CA store for selling counterfeit jewelry featuring the popular logo of the Rocawear brand.
The lawsuit, which was filed on April 25 in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles, seeks to ban the company My Treasures in the South Bay Galleria from selling the illegal jewelry.
Rocawear was founded in 1999 by Jay-Z and Damon Dash. In March, Jay-Z sold Rocawear to the Iconix Brand Group for $204 million in cash.
