Skurban: The marriage between skater fashion and urban style, as made popular by music producer Pharrell Williams and rapper Lupe Fiasco.
The term “skurban,” which stands for skate + urban, was coined a while back, but it’s been unearthed with a spread in the recent issue of Entertainment Weekly.
What brands would you define as targeting the “skurban” audience? Do you think this new audience even exists at all?

FASHION CHANGES AND IS FLUID… THE AUDIENCE DIDN’T CHANGE, ITS THE SAME EFFIN KIDS JUST TAKING A BITE OF SUBCULTURE… THEY’LL BE ON SOMETHING ELSE BEFORE YOU KNOW IT… ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY REALIZE SKATEBOARDS ARE KINDA HEAVY TO CARRY AROUND AS A FASHION ACCESORY.
