Here’s an interview with Natasha Sanchez, Head of East Coast Marketing for exciting new female brand Luxirie by LRG.
1. Who is behind the Luxirie brand and when did it start?
“Premiering in 2005 and now in its fourth season, Luxirie continues to thrive due to the overwhelming response from various media outlets, retailers, celebrities and street tastemakers.”
2. What’s the meaning behind the name?
“Luxirie by LRG (The Labour of Love) is a lifestyle brand that outfits women of different ages, ethnicities, and walks of life.
Luxirie is pronounced Lux-Irie. Lux – meaning elegance and sumptuousness, and Irie – meaning positive emotions or feelings, or anything that is good. Specifically it refers to high emotions and peaceful vibrations.”
3. What gap do you think Luxirie fills in the women’s fashion market?
“People wonder what makes Luxirie different from other clothing lines. It’s all about the belief in what LRG and Luxirie stand for and the cycle of things to grow.
“For the launch of Luxirie, our mission is to give the line unquestionable sophistication coupled with the right dose of edge. We’ve begun to make our imprint on the marketplace with our choice of fabrications, silhouettes, attention to detailing and style of branding.”
4. Have you enjoyed any support from the entertainment industry so far?
“Yes we have. People show so much love and support, and believe in Luxirie and what it stands for, which is the ultimate goal at the end of the day.”
5. What gives the brand its unique edge?
“From red carpet events and major publications to the streets of any town, Luxirie’s rhinestone pocket encrusted jeans, maple leaf-laced camo tees, tapered jean overalls, track jackets and cursive “L” logo babe tee can be seen everywhere; reflecting the distinct lives of every woman.”
6. Are there any Luxirie signature pieces?
“Definitely! There’s all of the above items plus our waffle hoodies and cherry letterman jackets (the best of the best!).”
7. Are there any events, etc planned for brand awareness in the short and long term?
“We have our first Luxirie launch parties in Los Angeles and in New York City this summer, so keep your ears to the streets to get all info!”
