Thanks to the amazing work of the DrJays.com buying team, here are some inside tips about upcoming Fall 2007 fashions:

FOR MEN:

-COOGI are set to bring back their original knit sweaters, immortalized back in the day by rappers like Notorious B.I.G.

-Lumberjack plaid is big for brands like Rocawear and LRG.

-Native American cultural themes are in for brands like Akademiks.

-Brands like Avirex and Ecko are delivering military themed gear.

-Pullover hoodies look set to replace the previous massive trend of the full-zip hoodie.

-Jeans on the slimmer side. They’re still fairly loose relative to the contemporary market, but there’s a marked change in fit.

FOR WOMEN:

-Brands like Baby Phat, G-Unit and the upcoming new Sean John for Women are going “ape” over animal prints.

-Cute houndstooth patterns are in for brands like Apple Bottoms.

-Deréon and Rocawear have glimpses of a punk/rock feel to their collections.

-Both skinny leg jeans and wide-leg trousers are going to be acceptable.

-Colored denim (reds, purples, acid washes, etc) is big for the season.

It definitely sounds like it’s going to be an exciting time for the style of the streets. Which brand(s) are you most excited to see?
