DrJays.com previews Chamillionaire’s new album
Last night DrJays.com was invited to attend an exclusive listening session for Chamillionaire‘s upcoming sophomore album, Ultimate Victory.
The room was packed with industry types, and the night kicked off with Universal Records Executive Vice President, Sylvia Rhone, presenting Chamillionaire with a plaque for 5.5 million worldwide ringtones sales of his breakout hit, “Ridin’ Dirty”.

The Houston, Texas rapper then spoke to the audience about many things, including:
-His thoughts on today’s hip-hop (“Nothing gives me that [passionate] feeling anymore, not even my own stuff. I’m trying to get that feeling back.”)
-Rap beef (“I’m not that dude. If I’m not a star because of that, then oh well.”)
-His fans getting to know the real person behind the rap name (“I spent the past year traveling the world and I still didn’t feel fulfilled. I think people still don’t know who I am and I want this album to play a part in that.”)
Chamillionaire will be releasing a free mixtape called Mixtape Messiah 3 plus an hour long DVD to download in its entirety from tomorrow on www.chamillionaire.com.
This should hold fans down until his major label release, Ultimate Victory, on September 18.
