Ecko knows how to throw a party!

Last night DrJays.com was invited to a party held by Marc Ecko’s Cut & Sew Collection.
The party was on a cruise around the island of Manhattan, and boy, was it crazy – yummy food, endless drinks, amazing music from DJ M.O.S and prizes galore.
Staff from all Ecko properties were onboard – Ecko, Cut & Sew Collection, Avirex, G-Unit, Zoo York and Complex Magazine.
It was a great night to celebrate the success of the brands and the upcoming end of summer.

everytime i curse on here, it gets bleeped out.
well, in all honesty, Marc Ecko has done what alot of other designers havent. even if he is white, from the suburbs, and hasn’t really experienced urban living. hes been able to translate urban design to the next level.
and for a guy who went to pharmacy school eith no previous design experience of business experience, hes done a great job, of making us other designers look like amatuers. (business wise)
and i met the guy years ago at magic, and hes incredibly driven.
i also ended up working for g-unit.
so, unitl u have a company thats done a billion dollars in sales, it may be best to hush ur mouth.

I mess with his blazers, but tha’s it. He has too much asian persuasion in his design, dawg, his lame hoodies look like Walmart asian hoodies, samurais ?…. o….k…..
Ecko is whatever, it’s for junior high kids. I’m 21 and I wouldn’t wanna wear Ecko. but besides the point, there is a lot of rich suburban white kids who wants the hip hop look, and that’s why Marc made it.
