“Diamond shapes in colorful patterns on a solid background. Primarily used in sweaters and socks. Original pattern of the Clan Campbell, of Argyll in western Scotland. Often associated with a polished and classic style of dressing.”
The best known use of the argyle pattern in street fashion is Russell Simmons’ latest venture, Argyle Culture.

I’ve been thinkin about getting me some argyle stuff, I dig it. I remember when I was a kid and it looked so stupid, all I saw was old people wear it. Now it can be done!
First of all Argyle has been rocked by my great grandfather and my dad wears it too. This is all classic European clothing with an “Urban” vibe that im frankly sick of. Keep things clean cut, dont rock sneakers with a sweater or jeans when going out, its just ridicolous back in the day u were laughed at when u wore sneakers out. Sneakers were meant to be worn for sports and sports only. Buy a nice pair of loafers or nice dress shoes to compliment the style, not some rubber made in china thats going to deform ur foot and probably give you arch problems. After all im sure Jayz doesnt wear S.Carters with everything he wears…and Jordan doesnt wear Jordans all the time… I believe they wear Bruno Maglis or Armanis or even other little known italian designers, u can cop a pair regardless if ur caking or not a little extra dough goes a longer way,and if kept properly nice loafers or shoes will last u longer then those new pairs of white on whites u just copped.
