How much do you love hip-hop?
Enough for your opinion to be heard?
For the month of October, VH1 are paying tribute to hip-hop; the high point being the VH1 Hip Hop Honors Awards on October 8.
DrJays.com are nominated for an award (Best Hip Hop Apparel site – click on the link to vote guys!) so we don’t want to question things too much, but the rap lists that VH1 have put together look kinda crazy.
For example, how does their “10 Hip Hop Movies You Have To See” list include 1994’s Fear of a Black Hat, but not 1998’s Belly?
And their “35 Hip Hop CDs You Must Have” rates M.I.A’s 2005 debut Arular and Cam’ron’s 2004 set Purple Haze, but leaves out Jay-Z’s classic 1996 debut Reasonable Doubt.
What do you guys think?

they got freakin Cam’ron’s B/S album Purple Haze album up there instead of Hov’s Reasonable Doubt? naw thats just dumb…
Paid In Full, should be the NUMBER 1 Hip Hop Movie to see!!!
Yea. that is some bull ****… mainly because i’ve never seen Fear of a Black Hat but i’ve watched belly ’bout a hundred times…
ok now, seems to me somebody made that list at home, by themselves. Whoever made it, dosent know anything about hip hop, rap, nothing, i’m not going to go into details, but when you pick at rapper/ group, please pick their best album, or atleast one thats running
