Can you have racist ice cream?
Some things in life can be taken light-heartedly, while others are obviously borderline prejudiced.
We present you with a couple of flavors from a brand called 5 Boroughs Ice Cream, which are allegedly “inspired by the different neighborhoods [in New York City] and the people who live in them.”
What do you think?
Rich White Vanilla, representing the Upper East Side
Cha Cha Chocolate, representing the South Bronx
Mangodesh, representing Jackson Heights

I dont think that its racist, I think its actually kind of cute. Do you really think that somebody in going to be offended by them? I think that it is a kind of unique idea.

It is what it is…There are some neighborhoods in NY that are inhabited by a majority of one ethnic group or another and the marketing team over there at 5 Boroughs Ice Cream recognized and capitalized off of it. More power to them.
