Kanye West’s mother passes away

Donda West, mother of Kanye West died following a “cosmetic procedure” in Los Angeles this weekend, her publicist has told CNN.
But Patricia Green, the publicist for Dr. Donda West, did not give details about the procedure or exactly what the cause of death was.
West died Saturday at the age of 58, confirmed a representative of West’s record label, Island Def Jam, who added that “the family respectfully asks for privacy during this time of grief.”
Donda West was a major influence on her son’s life, as the music producer-singer-songwriter has often acknowledged.
She was the inspiration for the song, “Hey Mama” on Kanye’s 2005 album, Late Registration.
Among the lyrics: “Hey mama/I wanna scream so loud for you/’Cause I’m so proud of you/I appreciate what you allowed for me/I just want you to be proud of me.”
Earlier this year, Donda West released a book she co-authored called Raising Kanye: Life Lessons From the Mother of a Hip-Hop Superstar.

When i heard this news on the radio this morning my heart dropped. I know right now he is going though it. My heart goes out to him, losting your mom is something that you can never be prepare for.
First of all, I want to send my thoughts and prayers to Kanye and his family. I’m not going to say sorry to hear about your loss because how do you respond to that. I lost my mother, father and my stepmother too(they meant the world to me) and it always bothered me when people came up to me and said sorry to hear about your loss and then all i did was shake my head because why would you say thank you to that because it didn’t make sense. But to the ignorant ones that is worry about how, when, where and why it happened and just talking to be talking remember this one day you will be in a situation that is no one business but you and your family and ask yourself this “Why?”
