This is shocking. I remember feeling the same way when I watched BET’s countdown of the Top 25 Dancers (in which they gave Chris Brown the #2 spot and he conveniently co-hosted the show). How the HELL can yall say that Chris Brown is better than Usher in either capacity? That makes no sense to me. Let’s remember that Chris Brown looks up to Usher. The inspired can never be greater than the inspiration! That’s like saying Eddie Murphy is better than Richard Pryor. We seem to have a short-term memory in urban entertainment when it comes to giving people their props. Usher is a better singer, dancer, and overall performer and showman than Chris Brown. Every time you look at Chris Brown you can see that Usher left his mark on the dude. That’s the true sign of greatness, everyone who comes after you bears your mark.
CB is my dude but confessions is the best cd i ever heard ever i think chris got ush on the dancing tip cause he is more dynamic than ush flipping and stuff ush dont do that but ush been doing his thing for a minute now and his vocals and songwriting are higher than cb right now but i think chris will be ever more fire when he gets his man voice hes young and his voice is still changing but you can still tell his progressions so i gotta give it to ush cause he has been doing it longer and he hasnt fell off cb will be there but he still has growing to do
Let’s face it Usher is old.. at one time he was a good dancer, but he is nothing like Chris Brown. Chris Brown can do anything as to where Usher has more of a laid back style of dancing. But both are great artist and great dancers and much love to the two.

If you look back to Usher’s very first cd, it didnt do nearly as good as Chris Browns first and neither did his second. Yes Usher is a good performer but hands down Chris Brown is better and he’s only 18. And Chris Brown doesn’t look up to Usher as much as ya’ll are sayin, who he really looks up to is Michael Jackson. If he looked up to Usher that much then he would have wanted to do a song with him but he seems to care less. Usher is great but Chris Brown is “that dude.” Waitt about 5 years from now when Chris is 23 there will be no comparison and Chris earned that #4 spot on top 25 dancers. Michael Jackson was #2 for that person who said Chris was.

Usher = More rounded and experienced in the industry. Better vocalist.
CB = New age, new school, new R&B sensation at a young age. Fresh.

Michael Jackson looked up to James Brown… Usher looked up to Michael Jackson… Someone is always looking up to someone. Every artists takes pieces from someone else and blendsit with their own unique style and ability. Usher doesn’t “krump”. I haven’t ever seen him do it but things come out in different areas and they just get blended. So who really cares? 10 years from now it will be some other kid being compared to one of these guys. Usher and Chris Brown have two different fan bases.
Chris Brown cant sing or dance. All his songs sound like a 10 year old was bored and put a bunch of rhymes together. Just read his lyrics, he is nothing special music-wise. His fanbase is similar to that of hannah montana’s. Whose idea was it to put him in this magazine?
