What’s new with Gino Green Global?

When the DrJays.com team hit the MAGIC fashion tradeshow last month, we got a chance to catch up with a number of our brands.

One of those brands was Gino Green Global, a name that seemingly became famous overnight in the hip-hop community.

There were many questions surrounding whether or not the brand could survive their overwhelming initial success. The company’s representative Anthony Mayol answers these questions, in addition to showing GGG’s new spring line and more during his interview with our Boss Lady.

Do you think Gino Green Global can make a comeback?

I was at the Magic Show this year, there was not that much traffic around their set as it was in the past. With the initial sucess and since the designs were so simple to bootleg, not to metion how overpriced it was I dont see a comeback. Dont get me wrong the new sytles are hot, but I dont think I will be like it was.

I still have my shirts and they still look like new and the quality is great. I think people can tell an ebay or other bootleg so eventually that’ll vanish. Prices honestly aren’t that high considering the qualityof fabric and the fit of it. I stopped wearing other brands.

I think there’s going to be that fan base of people who want quality. I still get girbaud also despite the fakes out there. People know fakes and people who get the real ish know the real ish. Who can’t spot a fake BAPE from ebay. The whole point of the bootleg is to buy it less so people think it’s real so it kills it’s self there.

  • Wow… I forgot all about GGG. I hope they continue to do well. But I also don’t think it will be like when they 1st came out.

LOOK don’t get mad at the brand because some of the people that rock it act like cocky asses that are ballers. All brands have that. I was rockin it before it got uber popular. Doesn’t matter what brand you get if you don’t know how to coordinate your going to look like ish.

no, i don’t think they’re going to make a “comeback.” the quality of the fabric may be good but i feel the quality of design is lacking.
