Bill Cosby to release rap album

He’s conquered the worlds of comedy, television, film and philanthropy – now Bill Cosby is putting hip-hop in the mix.
A longtime critic of rap music, Cosby has announced he’ll be releasing a hip-hop album, Cosby Narratives Vol. 1: State of Emergency.
According to XXL Magazine, the project will not feature raps by the 71 year-old Cosby, but will integrate positive messages drawn from his previous books, stories and song lyrics.
Cosby has been vocal about what he perceives as hip-hop’s negative content and the influence it has on young Blacks in America. He insists he didn’t want to integrate rap into his sound because rapping is “profane for no reason.”
He tells the Associated Press, “I do not rap on any of these things. I wouldn’t know how to fix my mouth to say some of the words.”
Maybe Cosby will kick off another style trend, as he did back in the 80′s when in The Cosby Show he made sweaters similar to COOGI‘s signature sweaters popular for the first time.
