Dondria aka Phatfffat with Boss Lady

A 21-year-old Texas native with the moniker Phatfffat because she loves food (she told us Mexican fast-food chain Chipotle is her favorite), Dondria is an extremely gifted singer who started posting amateur videos of herself singing hit tracks by female artists like Ciara on YouTube two years ago.

Phatffat is now the only “urban” female in YouTube’s Top 10 Most Subscribed Channels, with almost 28,000 subscribers tuning in to watch her turn into a superstar.

After witnessing her digital takeover, Jermaine Dupri signed her to So So Def Records. They recently held their first press conference in New York and DrJays.com Live was there to catch the birth of a star.

Phatfffat’s debut single “Can’t Stop” is out now and her album Dondria vs Phatfffat (named because JD wants her to have the name Dondria and she wants Phatfffat) is out July 29.
