Our favorite Pastry girls Vanessa and Angela Simmons were spotted in Los Angeles this weekend in the run-up to Tuesday’s BET Awards.
They attended BMI’s Brunch at Murano in Beverly Hills, hanging out with celebs like Sean Garrett.
Angela’s gearing up to release her debut single, “Center Of Attention”, a summery, feel-good joint, and both girls are readying the fall 2008 collection of Pastry, available on DrJays.com very soon.

I think Vanessa and Angela have come a long way with their Pastry line. The shoes are really cute. Their line of clothing, not so great! If it had not have been for their ol’ Uncle, the one with the billion dollar empire that likes to set everyone up even Miss Baby Phat herself, Kimora Lee Simmons. None of these ppl would have diddly had it not been for Russell Simmons money. They would not have had a chance in hell for this clothes and shoe line that are going to make the millions on top of the mllions they already have. They all go to Uncle Russell when they need something or want something. He’s a great guy but he gives in to them all way too easily! Make them work for money, Unlce Russell, you did!
Why are all the models on the Pastry website all black? I don’t see any models that are white? That says something for them already. They are predudice. I wouldn’t buy zip from them just bc of that one fact! The have all their merchandise geared towards black women. Good luck with that!
I believe both of these young ladies are very pretty. Not only on the outside but also on the inside, and for anyone who called either one of them ugly… please… stop hating and go do something productive with your life like… learn how to spell and speak proper English…

Angela’s look is very LA boho chic and Vanessa’s look is more of a uptown ny look, actually i think both looks are very cute but Vanessa’s is more appropriate.
i think both of their outfits are really cute . they both have their own personal style . i wouldnt have worn a headband like that . buhh she rocked it just fine . i lovee both of them they are def.initely fashion icons in my opinion . on runs house everytime i see them they have on a cute outfit .

I think that both Angela and Vanessa are two very lovely talented young ladies. I fail to see why anyone is comparing the two to each another. They are both their own individuals. For those of you that have something to say about what one has on or what one wore on their head is just rude. Although it may not have been something you would have worn that does not make her (Angela) decision to wear it a bad one. We all have own unique taste. The remarks that some of you are making about these young lady are also remarks that at one point in time was made about something that you wore. Who are we to judge them and what they were. I love both these young lady and feel that they present a very good, strong, and positive image for young black women in today’s society. Much respect to both Vanessa and Angela. Keep doing what you do and let no one steal your glory.
they need to make some clothes bigger than x-large most people like their clothes but they cant fit them sooo its really important to mmake clothes so everypne can fit it..i bought a x-large and it was a FIT but most ppl dont like clothes to Fit them..atleast make the sizes xxL or XXXL most people would be happy!!:) i HOPE u READ THIS!

I bought my first pair of Pastry Kicks a month ago. Every since then, I’ve been a fan of their shoe line. And I don’t understand why people are hating on these two young black women. Can we not have anything? I think what they are doing is positive. Who knows? In 40yrs Pastries might still be in and a high class line!

I think they both look great! Vanessa always dressed chic and Angela always had her own style, which is great! I see Angela is doing her job, cuz I can sense some haters, just leave her alone.
