Wiz Khalifa is part of a new generation of MCs trying to leave their mark in the music biz.
The 19-year-old from Pittsburgh, PA talks to the Boss Lady about the origins of his name, his experiences growing up around the world as part of a military family, his upbeat approach to making hip-hop and how it reflects his personality, what fans can expect from his upcoming debut album, and a funny story about getting his first of many tattoos.
Wiz’s current single is “Make It Hot” and his album will be released through Rostrum Records/Warner Bros.
