This country couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful potential White House family.
More than 80,000 people came to the arena as the potential president, Barack Obama, rendered a hope-stirring acceptance speech-which doesn’t include that multitudes of viewing parties across the country that watched and listened as Barack Obama displayed his passion for change.

On a more serious note: dear God, please let Obama win.
I don’t think we should be looking at this from a color stand point but whether or that person can do something. It’s all good that he’s black but what’s more important is he can help the country. I know there are people that will be voting for mccain because they don’t like blacks for what ever reason. I know people that will be voting for obama because he’s black, yet do not know what he stands for.
Personally I hope he wins, because we all need him.

The Bible says the last will be first and the first shall be last. The less-fortunate, minorities, and women have been last for a long time. THE WHOLE WORLD IS READY FOR CHANGE. This speech and Obama’s personality, brand of politics, and the convention as a whole scared John McCain into his desperation choice of Sarah Palin. He had to try and get media attention. He had to try and get at Clinton voters. He’s criticized Obama’s ALLEGED lack of experience and he gets a woman who has been governor of Alaska (which happens to come in DEAD LAST for population density with a WHOPPING 657,000 people) for 2 YEARS! WOW IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY…..TO BE HONEST I AM 25 AND I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD SEE A BLACK PERSON WHO ACTUALLY HAD A SHOT AT BEING THE PRESIDENT IN MY LIFETIME OR MAYBE EVEN MY CHILDREN’S LIFETIME…. I BET MLK AND MALCOLM ARE SMILING RIGHT NOW ALL OF OUR ANCESTORS FOUGHT, WERE IMPRISONED, BEAT AND MURDERED FOR THIS DAY TO COME TO PASS. I AM SO BLESSED TO BE A PART OF IT. at first i’m not going to lie i wanted hillary to get the democratic vote because i felt she had more experience since her husband was the president and she saw first hand on the thing that were needed to be done in this country.. so when obama won the democratic nomination i was kind of upset because i didn’t feel he had what it take. BOY wasn’t i wrong after his speech i was left teary eyed and speechless, like he said this nomination isn;t about him its about american and he’s right we need someone who is down to help the people no matter what race.. in the last 8 years we have lost many of jobs and people are struggling daily trying to making.. I loved his speech, hes smart, inteligent and wity.
but what people must realize is that obama is not a savour.
His ideas and promises are very good but he cant do it all thats why they have all those republicans and democratics they help choose what ideas get excepted. so when we vote for obama dont just stop voting help vote in his party.
ps. everyone needs to vote and even if you no a felon if hes off paroll he can vote too as long as he/she lives in new york and california. it was featured on bets felons and the vote

The presidental race shouldnt be about what color the man is but what he believes in. Now if people really think Obamas gonna win because hes black thats a damn shame becuase most minorites dont vote. Now why did we fight so hard and so long for something then never use it? Most miniorites don’t vote ok, I have a very, very strong feeling they will this time. Please believe it!!! it isn’t just about color eventhough, that plays a big part if we deny that we’re just lying.
But he is the best man for this job. We certainly can not take 4 more years of George Bush’s policies. So, they way I see is, vote for Obama because he deserves it and he will gives us the change we so need.

No doubt about it. Obama-Biden is the better ticket. The world has some real problems – its far better to have a smart guy at the helm with judgment prioritizing activities and wading through the issues. Being a surviving POW while admirable is not an automatic qualifier for Presidency. Sarah Palin has some achievements but also has extreme social views and the state of Alaska is so unlike any other in our union given that 1/3rd of its economy comes from soaring oil prices and 1/3rd from federal transfer and it has a population of only about 600,000.
