Kimora Lee Simmons recently paid a visit to The Early Show on CBS to promote Baby Phat’s fall 2008 collection.
The fashion icon talked about the 10-year legacy of the brand and how fashion continues to tie in strongly with hip-hop (and her brand in particular).
She also gave her Baby Phat style picks for the fall season (all coming soon to DrJays.com), including metallics, large, oversized bags, peep-toe booties and trenchcoats.

she talks a lot… too much lol and i hate when people say she started baby phat 10 years ago cause she didnt …. it was russell that started it and she took over making her the creative director of baby phat… and now phat fashion
Actually Mya, she did start Baby Phat and Russell was her business partner because she was married to him and it was only right because he had the connections. You have to do your homework sometimes.

Good points by both russ and mya she does talk alot and she did make connections but she is ALSO ungrateful, a cheater and very money hungry but at the same time she has made a empire that has no color barrier and very very few clothinglines can do that baby phat is worn by hood chicks to supermodels and they wouldnt look down on each other for wearing it….Maybe Diddy should hire her to make Sean John women really pop cut the check MR. I think that when they got together, she might’ve “inspired” BABY PHAT, which, of course, is the womens’ PHAT FARM line and since they were married and she really didn’t have to work if she didn’t want to, he let her kinda oversee the new pet project. She used the fact that she modeled a lil’ bit as an advantage and now look at what she “inspired”….
Actually Russ…. do your hw… I’ve read all about how RUSSELL started out making tee’s that said baby phat, and because so much people were wearing it and liking it, he decided to make it into a brand and put kimora in charge of it

I really don’t go by the articles etc all that much due to bias’s and politics. I’ve read things in news papers that I knew weren’t true becuase I was there. But really don’t take this ish personally lol.

I really don’t like kimora or baby phat but i used to until i saw her show, and when i did like her i use to do all these projects and stuff about her for school and she did not start baby phat ten years old, and like Mya said it bothers her and it bothers me to cause they are giving her so much credit for things she did not create, and for russ search your information before you say someone is wrong and same to you shelly and for rick that wasnt funny it was stupid, i know thats a little harsh but i had to say it and get that out, if it offended you in anyway i’m sorry

1. Just because you change your name doesn’t mean your a different person. The writing style is the same. Especially the “i”, miss usage of “,” , run on sentences etc.
2. The time stamp gives it away.
3. conveiniently hitting up just the people that you don’t agree with.
