Submitted by Boss Lady on September 30, 2008 – 10:07 am19 Comments

Named after the lovable rogue character in the musical Oliver!, contemporary men’s streetwear brand Artful Dodger has landed at DrJays.com.

In late 2007, Jay-Z and the Iconix Brand Group acquired Artful Dodger for $15 million in case. The two parties purchased the brand using their newly established joint venture Scion, LLC.

Launched in late 2005 by Scott Langton, an ex-Sean John design director, and his business partner, Richard Wu, Artful Dodger will be debuting a women’s line in the near future.

Check out what’s on offer for now:

Factory Shirt by Artful Dodger

Miner Tee by Artful Dodger

Death Of A Craftsman Jean by Artful Dodger

  • Thrillogy says:

I know Artful Dodger has allot of nice outfits with cool graphics, but today when I tried on the button down shirts with the cardigan, I was very uncomfortable with the material in the button down shirts being so itchy and even the cardigan was too itchy and uncomfortable to wear around in the neighborhood. Thats just my opinion for trying this new brand of clothing design by jay z and I mostly prefer to wear Sean John. The outfits are cool to look at and maybe someday if I find a shirt from artful dodger that is comfortable, Ill buy it.

  • Thrillogy says:

Naw Im not hatting on artful dodger and I love Jay Z ’s music and his brand Rocawear and some of his new stuff from artful dodger, but not everything I like about the brand.

  • Thrillogy says:

I changed my mind I would actually wear artful dodger.

  • CHAZMUNNY says:

Whaddup chaz, lux and russ. Damn lux is ballin lol. Just looked at the designs and I’ll be rockin it later on. I’ve been looking for something different but not crazy for a while.

  • BLAH says:

Artful dodger is ok and it’s cool jay made the money move but for me it’s outdated now a few years back I had some of the original pieces but after they came out with that style everyone followed hard and it’s been blown way out of sorts since so for me it’s on to more subtle things

  • ya boy aj says:
