When it comes to authors, Sister Souljah is “the number one of the hip-hop generation” in Diddy’s opinion.
We urge you to judge for yourself - she just released her new novel “Midnight” this month.
The book is based on a character from her debut best selling novel “Coldest Winter Ever“, but is not meant to be a sequel.
“Coldest Winter Ever” was a heart wrenching look into a fierce young girl and her life in the ruthless streets of NYC.
“Midnight” has already hit #7 on the New York Times Bestseller’s list after a week of selling. We would love to hear your reviews on either or both of these popular books!

ahh the coldest winter ever is my favourite book! it is such a good&easy read. it’s very realistic. you end up wanting to be winter, even in bad times. even people who don’t read will easily get sucked into it&finish it in a day- guaranteed. i can’t wait to read it.

the coldest winter ever was a really good book, one of my favorites so when i heard she just came out with midnight i had to cop it. sadly, it was not wat i expected at all. i dont wanna give the storyline away but it really has nothing to do with coldest winter ever and isnt even half as exciting as it. there was so much hype and anxiousness with coldest winter and her follow up book,in my opinion,was very dissappointing!!!!

i read no disrespect and the coldest winter wow is all i can say real inspirational,no disrespect made me wanna learn more about my people.i most def will get this book and sister souljah never disappoints she always on top of her game peace
Coldest Winter Ever is one of my favorite books too. I think all young girls should read it. I’m going to buy Midnight asap.
