DrJays.com Debate: Did Obama make the right choice?

Submitted by on November 25, 2008 – 11:47 am6 Comments

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton

President-elect Barack Obama recently elected his former competitor Hillary Clinton to be secretary of state.

Reports are saying that it is pretty much a done deal – Hillary now just needs to formally accept the offer.

How do you feel about his decision?

Excelent choice for this reason she garnered over 18 million people in the primarys the most of all time it get white women to view him in a positive manner and it makes him to be a leader who knows a qualified person when he sees one even if it was a oppenent he defeated hes not holding grudges, the time of old politics are gone we must all come together republican or democrat lines must come to be one we must follow obama and reach across and comprise and build a better future for us and our kids greed has been a problem in politics and pride to combinations that make a situation like these worst we need to roll upp our sleeves and get dirty get the shine back in America!!! With this pick too it makes Hillary accountable she is a part of the new change and she had to be apart of it because she was speaking the same words he was CHANGE so to be a part of the team would make her seem htpocritcal and bitter no a good like for person who will be running for president in 2016!!! Damn that political science is really coming in Handy!!! Wat up Rick Russ Chaz and VA!!!

  • Rucker923 says:

i appreciate that comment t bone. Pres. Obama will not change the plight of lower class african americans. however, many of them have been inspired to do something more with their lives, and the so called glass ceiling has been lifted in their minds. as far as changing the world Pres. Obama has already done that. I hope that you are giving his accomplishment the justice that it deserves. It is comparable to Rose Parks, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Malcolm X(el hajj malik el shabazz), and Fredrick Douglass. I assert that Pres. Obama owes his to success to these late greats, but he shares in the success as well as African Americans. Instead of being sick, I hope that you would celebrate the acheivement and vow to achieve something great in your life.

It’s the new world orders choice.

  • Kwaping says:

There’s a lot going for her, and lot against her. I’m sure it was a difficult decision, and I think there would be just as much talk if he didn’t pick her. Either way, someone’s gonna say something. I just hope she doesn’t try to be co-president – that’s the main fear for most people.

And… that O-Face tee is pretty hilarious! I wish he was dunking on Bush instead, though.
