T.I. performs his community service duties and continues to focus it on the kids.

He is pictured here handing out toys to a group of students in GA. They almost lost their local community center this month due to lack of funding.

This morning he was scheduled to speak to the students on the importance of the center.

We need to realize that the Holidays are about giving to the less fortunate and those who need it the most seems like that the number of people hhaving a hard time exploded this year pepole losing homes cars jobs and this the holidays arent as cheerful as the ones in the past….But we all need to take solace in that as long as you are in good health have a roof over your head and food on the table and have your family but your side thats all that matters!!! Materail things only bring temporary happiness and in the grand scheme of things are really worthless, family and friends matter the most and you cant use a Visa or money to pay for it!!! We need to Humble ourselves and remember to keep in mind we may bad but the nest man may have it worse and if he can keep a smile on his face so can you!!! Be Thankful and grateful and make this Xmas very special not because of the gifts make it special because you are among family friends. 8 more days we get to have a clean slate and put this year behind us on embark on change and a black president!!! Happy Holidays Dr Jays Bloggers what up Rick Russ Chaz VA and Boss Lady and extra Merry Xmas to my new crush KIKI =) lol

Nowadays, Christmas holidays are becoming more commercialized these days, Most people forget what’s really the true meaning of the holidays, besides giving presents: sharing, spending time w/ family and friends, showing some love and of course (if you’re christian), the birth of the savior, Jesus Christ.

I know everything’s in shambles right now, as the economy becomes more slow and the threat of recession is along the horizon, we should be thankful for the things we had, for you won’t put a dollar sign to it, like having a loving family, a roof for our head, and food on the table. 2008 is almost coming to a close and a new year is on the horizon as well. A couple of weeks after new year, the whole world, not just the United States, will witness history…..as a black man named Barack Hussein Obama won’t just be our first black president, will become the President of United States. God bless our next President. thank you.

Santa Claus came on November 4th for me. Hopefully this recession will help us all to realize that family and brotherhood and peace and equality are all that truly matter. Or as I say down here in MS, “As long as it’s egg nog, it’s Christmas.” I really do mean that from the bottom of my heart, family and quality time are what it’s all about. But just in case you were wondering – yes, I am a broke college student. Merry Christmas!
