Music industry insiders have known about the magic of Novel for quite some time now, and with his debut album set for release this summer, his name is set to become well-known across the world.
The singer/rapper/songwriter/producer talks to Boss Lady about the excitement of making a masterpiece (which he calls a “lifetime in the making”), lessons he’s learned from working with everyone from Alicia Keys to Joell Ortiz to Leona Lewis and Talib Kweli, his critically acclaimed first single “I Am”, growing up with his father William “Mickey” Stevenson (who was the first A&R/VP of Motown Records) and grandfather (legendary soul singer Solomon Burke) and much more.
