As reported today by Woooha.com, Kanye West will be launching his own denim line.
This will be a project separate from his upcoming “Pastelle” clothing line.
With a love for British fashion, he is meeting with the head of Religion Clothing in England to garner inspiration.
Religion is very successful rock n’ roll style London brand that has been a hit among fashion icons, like Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.

Kanye is set on having a successful line – and not just because his name is tied to it.
Considering his personal style and the fact that he seems genuinely passionate about fashion, many would assume his line will flourish.

i’m sure his jeans will be well designed&good quality but i don’t think right now is the time for him to be launching his own denim line because you KNOW he will be charging outrageous prices!

I don’t think now is good time. I’m sure the line will be of great quality , but they prices will be be high as well. No one would buy. It’ll be like Andre 3000’s line, except for Andre’s line was horrible looking.

yo big ups to kanye for wanting to bring a new fashion but now’s not the time if you feel what im saying. man it’s the recession everybody broke. now on the other hand if his clothing is affordable i would most definitely cop plenty of his clothing. but i don’t know we’ll have to see

Kanye has too many projects going on…air yeezy, pastelle , louis kicks, and now a denim line..and a new chick..he’s really getting it in..where does he find the time to manage all this? on top of his music career..
kanye has perfect timing he is saturating the market with his brand but its not a oversaturation

rocawear had ties to prokeds (before the split) and there was armadale vodka and teamroc
nelly with his vokal and apple bottoms clothing lines with the later included footwear as well as pimp juice
the point is kanyes brand is going to be today what rocawear was in 96 and what phat farm was in 94 innovative signature and unlike everything else on the market.
and as far as price if it is high priced it so the bum on the street wont be wearing it if it was that way the appeal would not be there it would make the brand look bad.
if u think pastelle or anything else kanye does is high priced, you people dont wear bbc or ice cream because that makes rocawear look like a bargain brand
