In a post earlier today, we asked you to guess which celeb got fired from being a hat checker back in the day.
If you guessed Mariah Carey, you were right!
Previous to her huge success in the music industry, Mariah Carey admitted to being fired from all of her jobs – she was a hair sweeper in salons, waitress, and hat/coat checker just to name a few.
What got her canned?
Her attitude, and the fact that she was too busy focusing on mixing demos and becoming a backup singer.
Perhaps this is more proof that we should all go hard after our real dreams.
Instead of wearing many hats, pick the one the one that best fits – just don’t ask Mariah Carey to check it!
