YES!!!!! I DO THINK HE DESERVES A SECOND CHANCE…AND I FEEL SORRY FOR THE PEOPLE WHO THINKS THAT HE DOESNT. I HOPE THEY EXPERIENCE MAKING MISTAKES THAT WILL ALLOW THEM TO FEEL THE WAY MIKE FEELS. SO THEY CAN UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS IMPORTANT TO FORGIVE AND LET LIVE!!!!!!!
THIS MAN GREW UP A PRODUCT OF HIS SOCIETY…HE GREW UP AROUND DOG FIGHTING…HE MAY HAVE NOT EVEN KNOW THAT IT WAS SOMETHING THAT COULD GET HIM IN THIS MUCH TROUBLE!!!

I think that dog fighting is a sick sport. I do not think michael vick deserves a “second chance” in the NFL….. what he did was sick and cruel bottom line… It takes a sick individual to do the things he did to those dogs…

What is wrong with you people? Michael Vick most certainly does not deserve a second chance. I think he deserves to be locked in a cage full of angry dogs. It sickens me to think what those dogs went through, all for entertainment purposes. Newsflash to buddy who said that these dogs are naturally mean and no good to people, pit bulls are smart, loyal, and loving animals. It is assholes like Michael Vick that give them a bad name. I truly hope he never plays another game in the NFL as long as he lives. I watched the episode of a televisions show called Dogtown when some of these dogs were rescued from the Vick dogfighting compound. It was sick and disturbing, just like Michael Vick and all the other losers that participate in dog fights.

I think what he did to the dogs was horrible. I think he’s probably not a great person. But I don’t see why he shouldn’t be allowed back into football. There are a lot of guys in that sport who aren’t angels or saints.

People are so judgmental…it’s human nature so we can’t do everything about it. Although I despise what he did to those dogs, he did his time in prison and paid his dues in society so yes, he does deserve a second chance.

BTW, don’t just compare Vick to TI, for he’s in some different situation than Vick’s. In addition, Pacman Jones was in boiling hot water for his legal troubles that is more severe (in my opinion) than Vick’s case, and some people didn’t think he deserved a second chance……and so is other players are tangled with their run-ins with the legal system. Too bad the Cowboys released him.

I know the NFL (if they have it their way) would likely to reinstate Vick right away after he finishes his prison term. However, they’re doing everything down-low so they won’t spite some advocacy groups like PETA (damn!) for i’ll create a public relations backlash, which is very bad for business.
