It’s a wrap for LL Cool J’s clothing line

LL Cool J promoting his line at Sears
It seems like yet another celebrity clothing line is being forced to call it quits.
LL Cool J‘s collection for Sears is reportedly shutting down.
WoooHa.com just dropped the exclusive news today, after hearing it from a source in Sears’ buying department.
Even with merchandise being at very reasonable price points (tees for $20, denim for $50, etc.), the brand’s sales dropped as the economy weakened and it has not recovered since.

Sears had invested millions in bringing LL Cool J in as an official spokesperson, which included ad campaigns and in-store merchandising. These claims still need to be confirmed by Sears corporate, but inventory is already priced to clear at up to 50% off.
LL’s line consists of tees, hoodies, denim and more with the very popular tattoo inspired graphics.
Why do you think customers weren’t going for it even at low price points?

design’s were not just there,1/2 of it looked like cheap blac label gear, rapper’s should stick to rappin’,true heads don’t just cop something because a famous rapper makes a clothing line ,LL IS ILL BUT THE CLOTHING WELL ……YOU KNOW THE REST!!!!!
Do we have that kind of time?
………………………………WHY LL?
CONSUMERS ARE JUS VERY PICKY THESE DAYS, MOST CONSUMERS LIKE TO BE EXCLUSIVE. YOU CANT REALLY PUT A DESCRIPTION ON THIS ERA OF CONSUMERS. PPL LIKE TO WEAR SOMETHING THATS JUST UNIQUE, NOT COOKIE CUTTER, LIKE MOST CLOTHING LINES STARS OR RAPPERS ARE ATTACHED TO.
LL COOL……STANDS FOR LACKLUSTER CLOTHING
There was just nothing fresh or new about the clothes. They were your run-of-the-mill designs. If there’s nothing unique about your product that will attract consumers, it cannot and will not be successful. Sorry LL. His last album didn’t do too well, either. Looks like it’s time to go back to acting…
His first mistake was putting his name on the clothes. Automatic failure.
I think Sears as a whole is flailing hard in this economy. I won’t be surprised if they go down.
His clothes was wack, FUBU was cool when it first popped off & then BOOM it just feel off like a newborns belly string! LOL
Ya the designs were not innovative or different from what is already out there, and I doubt very man people would buy the clothing just because LL’s name is on it….
Lol 40% off
He could always come to Hairhustler.com
