Jibbs returns to the spotlight with “The Dedication (Ay DJ)”
Jibbs is back to reclaim his spot in the limelight with his sexy new single, “The Dedication (Ay DJ)”, featuring Lloyd.
Only 15 years old when he debuted with the catchy hit “Chain Hang Low” back in 2006, Jibbs is taking a much more grown and sexy approach to his upcoming album New Tempo, New Swagg, out this summer through Geffen Records.
He talks to the Boss Lady about finishing school and starting college, what “swag” means to him, how he’s grown as a rapper and songwriter and much more.
Boss Lady wears top by Pink by Blac Label and Jibbs’ gift is provided by The Loots.

OMG YUK I WISH YALL STOP SAYIN “SWAG” OH MAN THAT WORD MAKES ME SICK TO MY STOMACH…..TALK ABOUT THE MOST OVERUSED TERM THIS YEAR AND I DONT CARE WHAT YOU SAY YOU KNOW ITS THE TRUTH
Jibbs is the m-f’ing TROOF.
I agree with Jason Sams wholeheartedly. I’m sick of the word, because honestly it is no more than a justification for listening to/liking/supporting a rapper who has no originality, no lyrical content, and no flow. The same old subject matter (money, drugs, girls, hustling, pimping, violence, and lets not forget the cars – and most importantly, the RIMS!). We hear it over and over on the radio, and people defend it by saying, “Check his swag!” If you’re saying absolutely NOTHING relevant or meaningful, it doesn’t matter HOW you say it. It’s still NOTHING! When did how you say something become more important than what you say? Forgive me, everyone, if this is more than you bargained for when we’re supposed to be talking about Jibbs. I can’t help myself, I love true hip-hop and to love hip-hop is to hate what’s on the radio.
