This is what he wrote when we asked:
“If you could spend this Saturday doing anything your heart desires, with any companion(s)…
What would it be?”
Mike: “I would take a day off from being deployed on the USS EISENHOWER (CVN-69) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and spend it all day with my son who I havent seen in almost 2 yrs. I would do whatever he wants and after I kiss him good night and tuck him in. I would change from my civilian clothes and back into my uniform and continue doing what I do and hoping that he will never have to endure the sacrifices that I have to do day to day”.
Mike’s “fantasy day” won him the cute pair of Ed Hardy backpacks pictured here.
