SOME PARTS OF THE WORLD LOOK AT US AS CLOWNS, BUT WHO CARES, THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE THEN HOME. I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN BECAUSE I AM GIVEN ALL THE OPPORTUNITIES IN THE WORLD. I WILL NOT SAY FREEDOM, BECAUSE FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. MANY MEN AND WOMEN SACRIFICE THIER LIVES FOR US TO STAND WHERE WE ARE TODAY. THEY HELPED MAKE THIS PLACE A BETTER PLACE FOR US TO CALL HOME..IM ON THE SAME MISSION TO HELP MAKE THIS PLACE A BETTER PLACE FOR THE GENERATION TO COME.THAT’S IS WHY IM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN.

  • Well thinking back to when I was in the military going around Europe, iran, isreal and other areas. Now I’m thinking about now as I’ve been around other areas of the world and one thing remains the same. The way different American cultures have had definite influence on other countries. True the world has it’s influences here but it’s not as broad of a spectrum. IE: you can go to a chinatown etc here but your not going to find an america town in spain etc.

Look at the influences of hip hop on other countries. There’s other influences from america like business’s, fast food, music, lifestyle’s etc. Even sports like basket ball, baseball etc. Granted different countries call it different things and have their players but I bet you they’ll recognize kobe bryant in a heart beat.

We’re from the land that constantly fascinates the rest of the world. That’s why you can take pride in being an american.

I came back from Afghanistan. A twenty-two year old war vetran.
Marching in a hangar with my comrads as family and friends cheer us on.Just to have the pleasure to say i served my country with pride under the infamous 101st Airborne. I came home after Christmas and I picked my cousin up from school and for him to tell me he was proud of me is more meaningful than any other gift. I’m a proud American. I would die for my flag.

I am in the Army reserve and each time I see a flag flying it brings tears to my eyes. I am so proud of being in a country where we truly are free. I especially realize all the privileges I have as a woman. Being a American is something to be so proud of and I love being one!
