Levi’s revamping and relaunching on DrJays.com!

The jean giant, Levi’s, will be re-launching this fall on DrJays.com.
Kiki accompanied DrJays.com buyer Jade on a trip to their NYC office, where he viewed the fall 2009 and spring 2010 collections.
You can imagine the overwhelming amount of fits and washes Levi’s had to offer in their “Red Tab” collection.
We saw a fit model try on everything from colored, distressed, bleached and shiny finished denim in skinny to baggy fits.
Shorts were also in the mix, in twill, denim, camouflage print and plaid.
The brand also revamped the “Silver Tab” collection. In 1989, a huge ad campaign in bus shelters helped put the collection on the map. It was eventually discontinued, but is now making a comeback with a much more fashionable, “L.A. style” as the Levi’s sales representative himself put it.
The jeans feature nice finishing touches such as unique stitching, flap back pockets with buttons, leather detailing and more.
Levi’s also hired a new ad agency, Wieden + Kennedy Portland, that has successfully worked with other huge corporations like Target, Nike, Disney and Coke.
You may have caught the latest campaign called “Go Forth”.

The brand announced the launch of the campaign today in a press release, and you can expect to see it run across TV, print, and digital throughout the summer.
According to executive creative director Susan Hoffman, it aims to “refresh and reinvent the idea of a pioneering spirit for the times in which we live” while paying homage to the history of denim and the classic Levi’s brand.
