Drake for LRG

Kiki accompanied DrJays.com buyers Jade and Aaron to view LRG‘s spring 2010 line.

As you can see from the selection on DrJays.com, the brand always comes out with a rich and extensive line each season.

We weren’t able to take pictures in the showroom so far in advance of the line debuting, but we can give you a feel for what to expect.

You can also check out the brand new summer and fall 2009 LRG apparel that just launched.

Spring 2010 consists of few collections, with the first staying true to the brand’s earthy “Grass Roots” style.

Bright plaid shirts paired with khaki jackets, lookbook images of guys chilling in a forest, and graphics like “Go Climb a Rock” make you want to slip your hiking shoes on.

With the second collection, LRG moves more into a cool contemporary look with striped woven shirts, rich grey shades, splashes of red and more.

The final collection has an urban/skate look which is evident in the graphics on tees, like the brand’s signature giraffe on a skateboard, and flat front cargo shorts. Men’s shorts are losing a bit of their length in general, so make sure you get those legs in their best shape!

LRG’s denim washes for spring 2010 range from light to vintage to raw, and fits go from Slim Straight to their baggier Classic 47.

Other than some of their jeans, LRG sucks.

  • I actually like their products. Great quality, fit & design of shirts and I like their jeans too. Girls like the feel too.

The only thing I don’t like is I get the weirdest comments when I wear their shirts. Some ask me what research lifted group is or they think it’s a “green company”. I have the bird catchers, one time some dude asked me what my favorite bird was and what society I was with.

  • luxurylife says:

    lol birdcatchers?! lol

  • haha yeah lux it was a logo on a shirt with 2 nets crossed and a bird in the upper middle. Needless to say I had many a convo with middle aged white folk lol.

  • Wow! Thank you! I constantly wanted to write on my website something like that. Can I take a portion of your post to my website?
