Kim Kardashian is another high-profile “celebrity” who uses Twitter not only to connect with fans but also to share candid pics; her follower count is approaching the 2 million mark.
The relationship between stars and fans on Twitter is a reciprocal one: fans wait in anticipation to see as much of their favorite artist, actor or athlete as possible and are rewarded for their adulation via conversation and photos, while the artist is constantly able to feed their ego in a real-time setting.
