Video: DJ Quik and Nike Hyperize Commercial

A few weeks ago we gave you a behind the scenes look at the new Nike Hyperize commercial, featuring DJ Quik and NBA stars taking it back to the old school, straight West coastin’. Well here’s the finished product, and to use a misplaced sports metaphor, once again Nike has hit a home run.

The commercial features four of the NBA’s brightest young stars (or three young stars and Rashard “Roids” Lewis, if you want to look at it that way) as “The Hyperizers”, a streetball/hip-hop collective – there’s Andre Iguodala as “Chief Blocka”, Kevin Durant as “Velvet Hoop”, Mo Williams as “Fog Raw” and Rashard Lewis as “Ice-O”.
Check out the finished product below, there are too many highlights to mention but Kevin Durant doing “the Tony Yayo” is ridiculous!

Totally love the commercials. It’s more than one! I love all these guys on the court and when I seen the commercials yesterday, I could stop laughing.
I’m feelin’ it. But can we get a couple more West Coast cameos? Where’s Snoop, Kurupt, Nate Dogg, Warren G, or Cypress Hill? Craig and Day-Day, somebody.
This video had me rolling…too funny!
