Mya and Macy Gray Hit Dancing with the Stars
Mya is dusting off her old tap shoes to join season nine of Dancing With The Stars. “I’ve always wanted to be on the show. My mother [Theresa] and I are both fans,” she told USAToday.com. “I’ve done tap dancing and hip-hop, but never done work with a partner. This will definitely be a challenge.”
As far as her music career goes, Mya’s sixth studio album will be released on her independent label, Planet 9.
There’s no word on a release date yet, but you won’t have to wait too long to hear fresh material from the Ghetto Superstar songstress. Her Beauty & The Streets: Vol 1 mixtape is slated for a September 29th debut. I’m sure there will be leaks from the project pretty soon.
