Kehinde Wiley Combines Urban Aesthetics To His Artwork..
By urban aesthetic, I mean his artwork is highly fashionable. Not only does his work focus on a subject with lack of coverage – the black male – but his renderings are so lifelike that you can barely notice they’re paintings and not some photo-shopped picture.

In short Kehinde is amazing. He has even covered industry sweethearts Dee & Ricky whose Lego brooches and belts have made it as far as the cover of Kanye West’s 808′s and Heartbreaks.

Hey, he’s the truth!
I’m always been a fan of his artwork! He shows black men in a different light with his paintings. He truly a talented artist, and I saw him on Current T.V. like back in 06 or 07.
I liek this aartist studied him in classes. But even though I understand the technique can he do anything else besides this style?
