Kehinde Wiley Combines Urban Aesthetics To His Artwork..

By urban aesthetic, I mean his artwork is highly fashionable. Not only does his work focus on a subject with lack of coverage – the black male – but his renderings are so lifelike that you can barely notice they’re paintings and not some photo-shopped picture.

In short Kehinde is amazing. He has even covered industry sweethearts Dee & Ricky whose Lego brooches and belts have made it as far as the cover of Kanye West’s 808′s and Heartbreaks.
