TLC To Turn On The Waterfalls In Las Vegas

TLC is slated to make their first U.S. appearance since 2002 at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Events Center in October, when they’ll play a Justin Timberlake-helmed benefit concert for the Shriners Hospitals For Children. (Also on the bill: Alicia Keys, Ciara, and Taylor Swift.)
Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, the “L” in the trio’s name, passed away in 2002; the two surviving members of the group, Tionne Tenese “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, will apparently perform as a duo. And yes, you’re not crazy if you remember a 2005 reality show in which the two surviving members of the group hunted for a “Left Eye” replacement; R U The Girl, which aired on UPN, only offered the prize of guesting on one single credited to the group. Luckily Chilli scored a much better deal for her new reality show, which airs on VH1 next year and which will chronicle her quest for love.
