The good folks over at The New Pop spent the day with Kid Cudi, covering his URB magazine photo shoot, and hitting up all the retail spots he worked at before his first name was Kid. Stops along the journey include BAPE, American Apparel and Abercrombie & Fitch.

Had The New Pop intellectuals shot this video with me, Victoria’s Secret, Ann Taylor and BB King’s Blues Club would be the first three destinations on the list.

Poor Contessa would be so exhausted from the traveling, she’d probably leave me there.

Watch as Cudi receives love from adoring fans, tells the heart-wrenching story of a Wendy’s chicken sandwich and recalls the days and nights of unsigned life.

I really hope he’s staying grounded.
