Happy 51st B-day Michael!
It’s Saturday August 29th, 2009 – the day the late King of Pop, Micheal Jackson, would be celebrating his 51st birthday and an astounding four decades of entertainment superstardom.
However in the wake of his tragic death, fans all across the world will celebrate his life and mourn his death with tribute concerts, parties, and the like.
One of the worlds largest organized Michael Jackson tribute parties is being held by acclaimed film director/producer Spike Lee in Brooklyn NY’ s Prospect Park.
The party will take place from 12pm-5pm with an expected 10,000 attendees. The event will have some of the hottest dj’s, dancers, and livests MJ fans this side of the country. Spike Lee will be filming the event and invites all MJ fans to come out and celebrate one of the greatest entertainers who ever lived.
Another Michael Jackson birthday tribute show is happening in NYC tonight at the Nokia Theater in Time Square. On the turntables, Q-Tip, Mark Ronson and DJ Spinna will bring, among other things, “never-before-heard remixes of Michael Jackson hits.
