Chris Brown’s Fashion Fail

Unfortunately Chris Brown isn’t short on failures as of late – but more of the personal kind. I’ve always been a big fan of Chris Brown, he’s extremely talented. I not only saw him, but also Rihanna, in concert in 2006 and I was quite impressed (more so with Brown).

Nevertheless, talent cannot trump this utter fashion fail, if not for the irony the utter sadness.

Chris Brown Fashion FAIL

Where should I start with this one? I feel this should be one of those “find everything wrong” pictures. Not sure so sure, been living under a rock?

For one, I hates camouflage, for two the graffiti mess on on Brown’s jacket is none other than Huey Freeman from the show The Boondocks.

He’s the main character the story follows who is intelligent, witty, all about black power and most importantly not about things that are mainstream.

What’s even more interesting is that there’s another character by the name of Riley Freeman (Huey’s little brother) who epitomizes everything hood. He’s crass, unforgiving, and most of all he’s blatantly honest.

Riley Freeman

Did I forget to mention he’s hilarious and offers some comic relief in a cartoon that can also be quite heavy? I think he would appreciate a thousand fold being immortalized in rhinestones (*smh*) and red camouflage more than Huey ever possibly could. I wonder what made him choose that character?

Old doesn’t detract from the utter fail of this fashion statement. There is no statute of limitations on FAIL.

    “I not only saw him”

Is it correct to say that? or there’s a grammar mistake?

Stop the with the hate crimes folks! Fashion is all about self expression. If the enitre population, dressed accordingly to these so-called fashion police and critics, we would not have trend setters today! I am sure the clothes you are wearing now were inspired by someone, somethings or someplace. Cris Brown and many others who came before and after are continuing to explore and expand their creativity. Who are we to pass any judgment. It was mentioned that Huey was not mainstream…although I do agree to some degree, however; his style (Hoody, baggy jeans, afro) well it came from somewhere. Right? Anyway…again stop with the hating…it’s not and never a good look.
    Peace
