When the world was introduced to Vanessa and Angela Simmons via their MTV show Run’s House, it was instantly obvious Rev‘s daughters inherited the same entrepreneurial spirit as their legendary uncle Russell Simmons.
It didn’t take long for the girls to come up with Pastry, a sweet-as-sugar brand they could call their own amongst family ventures that included Phat Farm, Baby Phat and Run Athletics at the time.
Created by Vanessa and Angela back in March 2007, Pastry quickly evolved from footwear to apparel and handbags. It’s now time for the brand to expand even further.
Debuting in time for Spring/Summer 2010, Pastry’s growing collection is now set to include quality eyewear, a full kids line for girls and sexy heels for a more mature customer.
Angela recently attended the MAGIC Fashion Show (Vanessa was unfortunately ill), appearing at Pastry’s suite in the Renaissance Hotel:

We have a video interview coming up with her and her cousin Jess (who’s featured on their MTV reality show, Daddy’s Little Girls), so make sure you check back for that soon.
In the meantime, here are a couple of exclusive promo images for the eyewear collection which is now available on DrJays.com:
