Baby Phat Unveils “Moroccan Kiss” at NY Fashion Week

Last night, DrJays.com enjoyed the unveiling of Baby Phats Spring 2010 collection at the Roseland Ballroom in NYC.

Aptly titled “Moroccan Kiss”, the collection represents the sea, sun and all things summer with vibrant shades of blue, purple, coral and more.

The models had a “Barbie & Ken” look – the ladies rocking big hair and lots of bright makeup, while the men had perfectly polished skin and hair.

We saw rompers in flowing, lightweight fabrics, shiny bikini’s, over sized beaded necklaces in bright colors, and overall a lot of gold and glitter!

The stunning Amber Rose was present, sans Kanye West (who was probably busy throwing a temper tantrum somewhere), wearing a skintight purple number, a glowing tan, a lip color I’m head over heels for, and odd gold mirrored sunglasses.

Other famous fashion show goers included Kim Kardashian, Russell Simmons, Ice-T and CoCo just to name a few.

Check out the video of Kimora Lee (beginning with her having a little diva moment!), where she describes Baby Phat as “sophisticated, yet young and sexy…for the woman who’s not afraid”.

She stresses how important fashion at a great value, and how she has always been one to provide that…

Are you feeling what you see from the new collection?

Here’s video of the live feed of the show into Times Square – the atmosphere is amazing!
