Crookers

This is a radio rip from the UK by the way. It’s a new track by industry electronica sweethearts the Crookers who have worked with everyone from Nore to Ghostface Killah (you may remember them because they helped catapult Kid Cudi into prominence with their mix of his debut “Day N’ Nite” track). Kelis new crookers

Kelis

Although this track is very much what I would expect from Kelis, it’s awesome to see the Crookers branching off into music that isn’t so techno heavy.

While listening I thought to myself “what a wicked dubstep track” and no later than the thought crossing my mind did the DJ say the exact same thing. So far I like it, but it’ll take a little more time for it to grow on me.

WHAT DO YOU THINK???

Is it a banger or should they head back to the drawing board?

It’s crazy how much buzz this song is getting with ONLY a radio rip. I think this song could be a HUGE hit for both Crookers and Kelis if they release it as a single and promote it properly. Kelis is not playing and shes about to set more trends with her new music. Her 1st single will be dropping VERY soon.

  • From the other comments that happen to be on this page it is obvious that there are many diverse opinions on this topic, but I like the way you view the scenario. Personally , i did not evaluate it like that, so I enjoy you bringing this out. Appreciation for this, it was a very excellent write-up. I search ahead for your future articles.
