New York City Shows “Stylish” Love At Gallery Bar NYC
In case you slept on last night’s event at Gallery Bar NYC, you probably missed a collection of hip, fresh and stylish people, eager to engage in Thi Chien‘s ADDICTION: Drugs Exhibit. Legendary entrepreneur Damon Dash, Roc Nation‘s J. Cole, Louisiana’s own Curren$y, Ford Model Phylicia Jones, BBGUN and other “dope” people were in attendance. Check out what you missed…
Not only were people in the building with internationally recognized names, but Janet Hollis (VH1 Hip Honors), Naira Underwood (internationalist instrumentalist), Dominique Andriese (model/actress), By Any Mean‘s Aristole and Alex Beckford, the super-smooth Ibrahim H., stylist Erika Nunez, actress Shelby S., promoters Lamar Covert and Ishmael A. came to support, as well as other national taste-makers.
The scene was described as “fun” by Chien. “People really came out to support and they were really thinking about the subject of the photos. I was impressed by the response. I’m honored.”
Hundreds of people flocked to the exhibit, making it one of New York City’s “coolest places to be” last night.
As expected, Christian Rich provided extraordinary music and brought a little Mid-Western flavor to downtown NYC. Peep those hats.
Special shout out to the good people over at LRG - the brand was being rocked properly. Nevertheless, Thi Chien killed it. ADDICTION will be on display until October 28, 2009 at Gallery Bar NYC.
