Wait ‘Til She Gets Her Money Right?

Pamela-Anderson

Okay, so we have seen quite a few celebrity deaths over the course of this year. RIP to Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, Patrick Swayze, Walter Cronkite… the list goes on. Another thing we’re starting to see, however, is celebrity bankruptcies and financial failures. Eddie Griffin is “going for broke” in front of a television audience. Marc Ecko also seems to be feeling the financial strain in more ways than one and has more bills than rhinos right now. Sinbad was on the “delinquent taxpayers” list in California. Guess who else is joining the party?

Ms. Baywatch, Pamela Anderson, reportedly owes 1.1 million dollars to several different construction companies. She also owes an additional amount of over $250,000 to the IRS. Is anyone else surprised that she doesn’t owe the plastic surgeon? Just sayin’….

According to MSN’s Wonderwall, she has denied the reports and says that she has paid the contractors and believes that they are trying to scam her. Meanwhile, her lawyers are going over the bills to see if they have any merit. She has confirmed, however, that she owes some money to Uncle Sam and that she is in the process of getting it paid. Get it together, Ms. Pam. Don’t want to get Wesley Snipe‘d.

I can’t understand her going broke when people like Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan get paid ungodly amounts just to make appearances in nightclubs. She better hit that VIP and get that cash. Broke is not sexy, no matter how many “assets” one may have. I’m not too worried about her, though. I get the feeling that should she need anything, Hugh Hefner is right around the corner waiting to save the day.

Post a comment and let us know how you are handling finances during this recession. Seriously, broke and inquiring minds want to know.
